For our last event of the season we’ll be joined by our guest producer Veronica Antipolo who's been a long time storyteller and friend of the event. Here’s a bit of Veronica’s thinking about the power of storytelling and how she got into this kind of work:
This self-discovery, self-empowerment and transformation I experienced through storytelling got me curious about how stories impact the storyteller, connect, and spark change. Curiosity turned into a slight storytelling obsession. Soon enough, in addition to telling stories, I started coaching and mentoring, teaching workshops and storytelling through producing shows and events. As a cheerleader of people and with the experience of my personal storytelling journey combined with in-depth research, I hope to build community, bring awareness to, celebrate and acknowledge the diversity of human experience.
